Lucky Seven-DEFENSIVE ZONE

I was tagged by Cari Silverwood for a fun lucky seven post. Here's the rules then my lucky seven.

1. Go to page 77 in your current manuscript
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next seven lines as they are - no cheating

Here's my lucky seven.Landon got himself in a bit of trouble!






Tossing the phone onto the table in the hall, he darted into the kitchen, rushed to the sink, and filled a coffee mug with water. The damn bacon was crispy now—he tossed the water and threw himself back as a huge fireball flared up.
"Holy fuck!"
The smoke detector screamed and black smoke filled the room in waves. Scrambling down the hall, he grabbed the phone.
"Landon!"
"I'll call you back." Without waiting for an answer, he hung up and dialed 911 as he abandoned his apartment to the flames.

    I so love Landon. Can't wait to read his story. But he's not allowed in my kitchen... just my bedroom. :)

Atlanta Insanity and...Oh yeah, a certain cover! ;)

This is going to be a quick recap of TNEE and then we'll get to the great big REVEAL of the cover for LINE BRAWL! <g> Followed by a teaser. ;) Ya ready? Don't scroll ahead, brats! lol All right, so for those still with me, getting to the hotel was like    So me and my beautiful roommate got early check in and crashed for a bit. Then it was time to get my boxes. One was already there!   BUT...the hotel couldn't find it.   At first, this was all right. Annoying, but stuff happens, right? Well, two days later, when they're still 'looking for packages', I was a bit less easy-going about it.   Not having a room for Wednesday might have contributed to me being a teeny bit grumpy. F**K The Rules...and how I write the books you LOVE! RELEASE DAY AND GIVEAWAY

Yes, I know, if I'm gonna swear in the title of a post, I should just do it, right? But I get in enough trouble for all my naughty pictures, so I'm trying to be a good girl... Fuck it! I'll give you a minute to either enjoy the picture or run away. If that makes you uncomfortable, you probably stumbled into the wrong blog. Totally cool. My books probably aren't for you, but today is the release day for a TON of awesome books, so I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for! Happy reading! All right, now that those who don't love manlove are gone, let's get down to the how and why of what I do. Not sure it will help any new authors who hope that I know what I'm doing and can point them in the right direction. The best piece of advice I can probably give you is 'Don't do what I do.' EVER.
